All Smiles

Last month, I was greatly gratified by the response to my post, “Funny at the Grocery Store“, which featured my awesome, beautiful kids.  When I saw the Daily Post prompt “glimmer” this morning, I instantly thought of them.  Not because there’s anything faint or wavering about their inner light, but because they shine.  Radiantly and often, they burn as the purest, brightest beacons in my mind.  Doing right by them is my North Star.  So in truth, it doesn’t take much to make me think of them; it doesn’t take a particular word.  They’re always there.

What “glimmer” actually made me think of was their shining smiles, particularly pictures they took of each other a few nights ago as they took turns smiling behind a magnifying glass.  And while I don’t intend to make them a regular feature of my blog, I knew I had to share these pictures with y’all.  I bet you won’t be able to keep from laughing aloud when you see them.
